That’s just part of this season of life. When it happens, here’s what I do.I grab my high frequency device first because it helps calm the inflammation and gets things moving in the right direction and kills the bacteria. Then I put on a salicylic acid patch overnight to help keep it from turning into a bigger breakout.Nothing complicated. That’s a heavy product meeting new skin. This isn’t foundation. It’s a skin tint, and that difference matters. Lighter. Breathable. It moves with your skin instead of sitting on top of it like a mask. This one is Ilia in bon bon.Tint, spf, and skincare in one swipe. 16 years as an esthetician and this is what I reach for when a client tells me her makeup turned on her overnight. You saw it on my hand. Smooth, not cakey. Glow, not shine.➡️Comment TINT and I’ll send you to the direct link.
I’ve spent 16 years doing lymphatic work on faces, I’ve spent 16 years doing lymphatic work on faces, and I watched this cycle repeat in my treatment room long before I could name it.Filler takes up space in tissue that has none to spare. Your lymph vessels are tiny, low pressure, no pump of their own.Press on them and drainage slows. Fluid pools. The face gets heavier. And then the heaviness gets read as volume loss, so more filler goes on top of fluid that never drained. The puffiness is real. The fix being sold is the thing feeding it.I wrote the full breakdown, including the risks that never make it onto a consent form and why your tissue at 52 is a completely different candidate than it was at 38.➡️Comment FILLER and I’ll send you the article.
