This costume is Kate Middleton. Always demonstrating class and elegance and of course the iconic Fascinator! Easy to pull together, just find a classic dress in your closet and top with a fascinator hat and you are good to go!
Mary Poppins is one of my favorite children stories. I believe I sang Just a spoon full of sugar with my sister a million times as a child. I loved Mrs. Poppins so much that I dressed up as her one year. See exactly how I created this costume.
A flight attendant is so creative and fun. I don’t know about you, but I love to fly. Grab a solid-colored skirt and a basic white shirt from your closet. Find a silk scarf and a little flight pin and you’re finished. So easy to create! Also, even though it’s fall you still want to wear that sunscreen!
Do you know that the Morton Salt girl brand first appeared in 1914? She got a fresh look for her 100th anniversary. I had no idea how many outfit changes she has had through the years. Truly interesting how she has evolved through the years. This costume would definitely be a great conversational piece.
Where’s Waldo has been a favorite of look and find books for generations. Such a cute concept and definitely comfortable to wear to any office function.
Mirror Mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all? You of course! Let me help you get your healthiest, glowy skin.
Do you know what beauty tools actually work?
What about when to apply your serums?
For that matter, which serums?
What about when to apply your retinol versus your mask?
When I think of mimes, I think of Paris. This look would be simple to pull off as we all have a striped shirt in our closet. Pop on a black hat and white gloves and presto!
Rosie the Riveter is definitely a historical piece that can be easily pulled together for a Halloween work appropriate costume. She was the symbol of women working in factories and shipyards during World War II. One of the most Iconic images of working women, this would be a costume rich in history.
As Audrey Hepburn says, ” The most important thing is to enjoy your life – be happy – that’s all that matters!” Well in this costume, I am definitely happy! I love the hair, the pearls, the sunglasses and the little black dress. Just make sure you take your lunch break so you can channel your inner Audrey and enjoy a pastry and a coffee!
Have a SPOOOOKTACULAR Halloween at the office!
