As we age, we need to evolve from outfits from our college days. Finding fall fashion pieces for us women over 35 can be challenging because we want to stay current with the trends, yet dress appropriately for our age.
This season I am trying to be more conservative & only adding a few key pieces to my ridiculous over-sized wardrobe already!
Here are my TOP pics for Fall Fashion for women over 35:
First: Slouchy Ankle Booties
My sky high heels days are over. So what’s next? The Kitten heel of course. And yes, I am into the slouchy vibe coming back with kitten heel slouch booties. They are hard to find but Anthropologie nails these with style, comfort and versatility. Add to your fall dresses or tuck into your skinny jeans -and yes I am STILL wearing mine, regardless of the wide legs coming back for this petite lady.
Second: step it up a notch with this faux leather jacket. This just came in and I cannot WAIT to style this all season long. It is very comfortable to wear, can be dressed up or down and the light color brightens up those sometimes dreary looking Fall ensembles. This one is a must!
I am obsessed with joggers. I Love them to travel in and also to wear them while working from home. Not only are they comfortable but the matching sets are so cute. I especially love this one Fitted High Waisted Jogger – Gibsonlook because it is high waisted.
Fourth: SKINCARE: I will say, if I am running out to the store or traveling, I love to pair my joggers with the Best Fall Makeup to give me that Fall Glow!
Fifth: Favorite Swing Dress
Love flowy dresses especially with pockets! This is a definite keeper for those fall outfits for women over 45 finds!
Sixth: Cardigans – What is fall without a cozy cardigan to wear over those transitional pieces. Finding a modern, easy one to pop over sleeveless dresses and tops was a challenge, but this ONE was a winner. The bubble sleeves light weight material and neutral sand color was a triple win.
LAST MOST IMPORTANT TIP!!! As we age, not only do our styles change but also our skin. It’s important to nourish it from the inside out. On our latest podcast we discuss what we have “FALLIN” for this year!
