Every Christmas my family starts celebrating early with a big breakfast. The main dish? One of my favorites-Popovers. I usually only have these once a year, so look forward to them every Christmas! From my family to yours, enjoy this yummy dish each year. After gobbling down 2 or 3 of these, you’ll have the energy you need to open those presents!!



4 eggs

2 cups milk

2 cups all-purpose flour

 1 teaspoon salt

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Grease 12 large muffin tin cups. Break the eggs into a bowl & beat. Add the milk, flour, salt & beat until blended. Fill the muffin cups 3/4 full with the batter. Place pan in the center of the oven and bake for 30 minutes without opening the open door.

Drizzle popovers with lemon juice & sprinkle with a plentiful of powdered sugar.

Other alternatives to serve with include butter, jam, syrup or honey.

Great with eggs, veggie bacon & grapefruit slices for a complete breakfast!
